Benton Community and Central Lutheran will be running a 2 hour late start schedule tomorrow, Thursday, February 6. Please remember that there are no morning activities on a late start. Also, there is no breakfast served. The AM and PM preschool session times have also been adjusted.

The Benton Spanish Department is thrilled to share that 11 students have earned their Seal of Biliteracy after completing Spanish during the fall semester. The Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by a school district to students who demonstrate proficiency in both English and another language by High School Graduation. These students took a four part standardized Spanish exam including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Each of them passed all four areas, demonstrating proficiency. Congratulations to the following students: Evelyn Godsey, Lydia Dwyer, Aubrey Kelly, Emily Kulbartz, Callan Keiper, Weston Kaestner, Mabry Sadler, Madison Rammelsberg, Ava Kleinmeyer, Kayley Dirks, and Nolan Harbach.

7th and 8th grade Ag class ended the week making tie blankets. Normally, they'd get a lot of use coming into February; maybe not this year!!

The Benton Community shop class is taking orders for custom cornhole boards & hand-crafted specialty chessboards . All profits are being donated to Benton Skills USA.
