Why Benton?
I chose to work at Benton because of the small town, deep community feeling it brings. I enjoy working with the students I serve and appreciate all of the staff.

Congratulations to the following Bobcats on their WAMAC West recognition!
Our high school PE students wrapped up the quarter last week with a field trip to Mission Athletics! Students explored how physical activity and fitness can be part of their lives long after PE class ends. They had the opportunity to try out equipment, explore different workout spaces, and even experience the altitude chamber! 💪 What a great opportunity for students to make real-world connections and discover new ways to stay active and healthy throughout their lives!
Mr. Donald recently put a new instructional strategy into practice after participating in a professional learning session with Grant Wood AEA School Improvement and Social Studies Consultant, Kyla Kiburis!
His 6th graders participated in a Hexagonal Thinking activity, making connections between key terms and concepts from their Ancient Egypt unit as they prepared for an upcoming assessment. Students needed to explain their thinking, make meaningful connections, and learn from one another!
We love seeing our teachers bring new strategies into their classrooms that encourage students to think critically, collaborate, and take ownership of their learning! 🐾
