Meet our fall athletes and marching band members, watch the football team scrimmage on the new turf, enjoy great food, pick up the latest Bobcat gear, and spend an evening celebrating everything that makes our Bobcat community special.
This event is also a great opportunity to become a member of the Benton Athletic Booster Club. Every membership directly supports our student-athletes by helping fund equipment, uniforms, facilities, athletic training, and other improvements that benefit all Benton athletic programs.

Last week, one of our summer learning groups gathered for the final session of their book study on Mattering. Throughout the summer, this dedicated group of Bobcats has spent time reflecting, learning, and engaging in meaningful conversations about what it truly means to create a culture where every person feels seen, valued, and connected.
We were especially excited to welcome a special guest to our final session, retired Benton Community teacher Gina Embray, who first reached out to recommend Mattering. It was a privilege to have Gina join the conversation, share her insights, and continue making an impact on our district through her passion for helping others feel valued and connected.
As we prepare to welcome students back, we are reminded that one of the most important things we can do is ensure that every Bobcat, students and adults alike, knows they matter.
Those everyday moments of connection, encouragement, and belonging have the power to shape experiences and change lives. At Benton Community, we are committed to being A Place to Belong, where every individual is known, valued, and supported.

At Benton Community, we know some of life's best memories are made on family adventures. Whether it's a long weekend away, a holiday tradition, or a special trip together, we want to help families plan ahead whenever possible.
That's why we've created our 2026-2027 Vacation Planner—a quick reference highlighting longer school breaks and holiday weekends that may provide opportunities to travel while minimizing missed instructional time.
At the same time, we know that every day in school matters. Consistent attendance helps students build strong relationships, stay engaged in learning, and experience the routines and opportunities that contribute to their success. While there are times when missing school is unavoidable, planning family trips around scheduled breaks helps students make the most of both their learning and their family time.
