All Bobcat freshmen participated in the Junior Achievement Career Inspire Event on Tuesday, October 28, at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse in Cedar Rapids.
JA Career Inspire is an engaging, hands-on career and work readiness experience that allows students to explore a wide variety of career pathways through interactive exhibits and real-world industry connections.
The goal of this event is to help students connect their interests and skills to future career opportunities. Through participation in JA Career Inspire, students will gain valuable insights into their personal strengths and learn about high-demand industries and occupations in Eastern Iowa.

Benton Community vs. Solon Playoff Information
Friday, Oct. 31st at 7 p.m. at Solon
Admission: Tickets need to be purchased online. https://www.iahsaa.org/tickets/
We will have a card reader at the gate but prepaid tickets will be the fastest way to get in the gate.
Visitor Parking and Gate: a visitor gate is located in the NE corner of the Stadium. Guests can park in the SRNA Lot (Baseball) or the Softball Lot and come in that gate for quicker entrance.
NO PARKING ON STREETS- cars CANNOT park alongside the stadium on either Sovers Street or Racine Avenue. The City of Solon will tow these cars and signs are visibly posted warning patrons of these restrictions.

Congratulations to Ava & Bella Olson (10th) each received a Division 1 rating at the ISDTA Solo Competition at Newton High School last night. Way to go!
Congratulations to Jack Lange (11th) who placed 10th with a time of 16:58.4 yesterday in Manchester; qualifying him for the Class 3A State Cross Country Meet. Way to go and best of luck, Jack! Cross Country State track is next Friday, Oct. 31st.

My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is that students have opportunities to shine in so many different areas. I love seeing students participating in multiple activities and having so many great experiences in and out of the classroom.

Fisher Sexton placed first for the Class 3A 7th boys.
Mason Becker was 8th in Class 3A 8th grade boys.
Kade Kies, Knox Becker, Charlotte Mitchell, Taylor Maiers, and Jaylee Maiers all placed in the top 50 in their grade for 3A.
