Benton Community Names New High School Principal
Benton Community is excited to announce the naming of Mr. Rob Libolt as the next High School Principal, pending board approval. With 17 years of experience as a high school principal and a strong background as an inclusive educator, Mr. Libolt is well-prepared to lead Benton Community High School into the future. His passion for developing positive relationships with staff, students, and families aligns perfectly with Benton Community’s values and mission.
Throughout his career, Mr. Libolt has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered environments. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, trust, and a focus on student success. Benton Community is confident that under his guidance, Benton Community High School will continue to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are also excited to welcome Mr. Libolt's family to Bobcat Country. His wife, Jessica, and their three children—Parker, Payton, and Porter— have helped to shape the educational leader he is today.
The selection of Mr. Libolt followed an extensive hiring process, which included a preliminary round where candidates were asked to submit a video describing their values and leadership goals for Benton Community High School. Additionally, Mr. Libolt participated in a thorough interview process, engaging with two separate interview groups consisting of over 20 staff members, administrators, and community members. He also had the opportunity to tour the school and interact with students, which further demonstrated his commitment to building relationships within Benton Community.
"I am excited to join Benton Community and work alongside such a dedicated staff, amazing students, and supportive families," said Mr. Libolt. "I look forward to building on the great work that has already been done and to working together to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed."
Mr. Libolt will officially begin his tenure as Principal of Benton Community High School on July 1, 2025. This is to fill the opening left by Mr. Rob Arnold, current High School Principal, who is stepping down from the role to relocate with his family. We are confident that Mr. Libolt’s leadership will continue to build upon the strengths of Mr. Arnold and contribute to the continued success of the school and its students.
