"I am in my 27th year of teaching at Benton Community Schools. The best thing about being a Bobcat is the amazing students, families, and staff I have been blessed to know and work with over the years."

Benton Community is so fortunate to have so many wonderful, caring associates that support students and systems in a variety of ways.

"The best thing about being a BOBCAT is the atmosphere of the community is like that of a close family. We are supportive of one another and look after each other’s children as if they are our own. "

School will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, October 18.

This is my fourth year teaching at Benton Community. One of my favorite things about Benton is the students. I teach seventh grade language arts and one section of Senior English. It is amazing to see how much the students grow and change through the years. Seeing them accomplish things makes me incredibly proud.

Juniors & Seniors: Check out this great opportunity to learn more about a potential career path, earn school credit, and connect with the community! Students or parents may reach out to Mr. Cretin for more information.

Why I chose Benton? It has always been home. “Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat!” In my student teaching I got the opportunity to experience different school settings and systems. Benton has always had a rich tradition of education and focus on what is best for our students. I wanted to be a part of that and make a difference.

"My favorite part of being a Bobcat is the community and the different learning experiences we provide for students."

"I chose Benton because of our culture and beliefs we have in learning and educating our students. Benton is a place to belong and great learning opportunities happen here everyday. All staff are committed to the students they see and serve. As a parent of a child who also attends Benton, that is what I want for my own family, a school culture that truly puts students first."

School will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, October 11.
