Kelsey shares, "I got to student teach at Benton Middle & High School where I fell in love with the students and got to learn about the unique lovely culture of Benton. I love getting to see the middle and high school students continue to grow when I'm in Van Horne and when those students come down to Norway. I feel very grateful to be part of the amazing team at Norway where there is so much care about the health, development, and wellbeing of students. And I feel very honored to get to learn from the amazing, precious students here."

BC student artwork is being featured at the Newhall Public Library. Artists: Kaylee Krueger, Maddie McMahon, Madison Kinion, Cole Sonka, and Rylee Reed.

Congratulations to Bobcat, Jaida Lyons; Coaches Marty Thomae, and Andy Kauder. Good luck at State Cross Country.

"Once Upon a Mattress" is a musical based on the story of the princess and the pea. This is the story of Prince Dauntless's search for a bride. No one in the kingdom may wed until Prince Dauntless marries, and the Queen tests each potential princess to prove they are unsuitable to marry her son. The knights and ladies of the kingdom are ready to get married and conspire with the jester and minstrel to find a true princess for Dauntless to marry. Princess Winifred, Fred, arrives from the swamp and must be tested to see if she is a bonafide princess who is worthy of marrying the prince. This show is filled with fun songs and entertaining characters.

"My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is the strong commitment to our students and staff both academically and in our extracurricular activities. GO CATS!"

School will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, October 25.
