I am Shawn Pfiffner and I am beginning my 34th year in education and my 33rd year at Benton Community. I am a proud Benton Alum. I had amazing teachers and coaches as a Bobcat and try everyday to live up to that same Bobcat culture. I do everything I can to support all of our kids, coaches, sponsors, and directors. Benton Community is my second family and a great place to belong. Go Bobcats!!:)

Benton Community welcomed new staff and teacher leaders back to school yesterday. Our new staff spent the morning learning about the mission, vision, and the values of the district and the afternoon was spent touring all of the towns and school buildings that make up Benton Community. We are excited to have all staff back on Monday!

Secretary Mike Naig recognized 16 Iowa students whose artwork was selected for inclusion in the 2025-2026 Choose Iowa Coloring Calendar during a ceremony at the 2025 Iowa State Fair. Benton Community's Logan Rausch was one of the students whose artwork was selected!
