Registration is now open for the 2025 Summer Show Choir camp Cedar Valley Show Choir camp will be held again in Van Horne in the high school auditorium July 7-11, 2025 in the mornings from 9:00 a.m.-Noon The camp concert will be Friday night, July 11 at 7:00 p.m. Theme this year is "Music Through the Decades" The camp is open to kids who have finished 2nd-7th grade. Iowa Association for Student Financial Aid Administrators Community Outreach Committee is hosting an event on for Students and Families of current Seniors to discuss and understand their Financial Aid Offers. They will have representatives from the Regent Universities, Private Schools, Community College’s, and also representatives from ICAN, as well. This will be a drop-in event where families are able to come and discuss with professionals to best understand their offer, no matter what type or where that specific institution is located. Over the weekend, Aubrey Becker and Justice Reynolds represented Benton Community at the All-Star cheer event held in conjunction with the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Pizza Ranch All Star Basketball games. Larry Carlson was there as part of his duties being a board member of the IBCA.
