National Assistant Principals Day
On Tuesday 4/29, the girls golf team participated in the Solon Invitational at Saddleback Ridge Golf Course. The girls took 2nd place against some of the top teams in Eastern Iowa. Halle Sobaski was tournament medalist with a fantastic 18 hole score of 70, which is two under par. Hailey Suiter finished 10th with a score of 88. Starting next Monday, our chapter is putting on a food drive called, Fill the Tractor. There will be a tractor donated by P&K to sit at the school and we will fill it with non-perishable food items. Members will need to take this to their 3rd block classes where they will get credit and the winning class gets pizza!

Benton Skills USA Club Competes at their first state conference Benton Skills USA is a club that focuses on all the skills that are learned through the industrial technology classes. Our chapter is new and this was our first time competing at the state level. We were able to gain a lot of knowledge and even a couple medals. We are trying to slowly grow our chapter each year so we can help more students be career ready. Below is a list of the competitions we did and the students who participated in them.
