My name is Christine Neff and I am a preschool teacher at Atkins Elementary. I have been a preschool teacher for 23 years and 4 of them have been here at Benton. Being a Bobcat has been such an amazing experience. I live in Atkins with my husband Chris and my two children Colsen (5th grade) and Annalyn(3rd grade). I was born and raised in the Quad Cities where I earned my Bachelors in early childhood education from St. Ambrose University. When I am not at school, most of my time is dedicated to my family. My children are in many activities that I love supporting them in.

Benton Community & Central Lutheran will dismiss at noon today, Thursday, March 9th due to the impending weather and road conditions. No afternoon Preschool. No afternoon or evening activities.

Hi! My name is Erin Van Sickle; this is my first year at Benton. I am currently the Math Interventionist at Atkins and I have loved every second of it! I have loved getting to know all the students and seeing them grow in their learning, and seeing their personalities! When I am not at Atkins, I can be found with my dog, Magnus, snuggling up and reading a new book!

School Bus Driver Appreciation Dinner & New Bus Driver Recruitment Dinner: Benton Community School District is looking for new bus drivers. For Respect Week, Hayden Bange, Emma Bange, Belle Werner, Kayla Johnson, Avary Tjelmeland, Mallary Howard, and Tegan Bishop went to Keystone Elementary and Atkins Elementary and read books to the elementary students. I am enjoying teaching my 8th year of 3 year old preschool at Atkins Elementary. I love to hang out with my dog and take walks. I grew up an Indianola Indian, but I am very thankful to have been adopted into the Bobcat family.
