This is my 16th year teaching at Benton Community School District. I taught Kindergarten my first two years and have spent the last 14 years as a first grade teacher. I enjoy gardening, kayaking, camping, and being outdoors. I live in Cedar Rapids with my husband Wes, and sons Henry (5) and Levi (1). My son Henry and I love being a Benton Bobcat!

The team had 32 rebounds, 21 assists, 10 steals, six blocks, 10 turnovers and 15 fouls. Jenna Twedt led Benton with 21 points. McKenna Kramer had 12 and Emma Townsley added 11 points. Townsley had nine rebounds. Piper Nelson added six rebounds. Townsley also had seven assists. Jenna Twedt had four. Nelson had three steals. Twedt had three blocks. Mid-Prairie was 14 of 44 for field goals, 4 of 8 for three-pointers, and 11 of 14 for free throws. They had 35 rebounds, six assists, four steals, three blocks, 16 turnovers and 12 fouls. Spain Trip Meeting: There will be a meeting for all students who are going on the 2023 Spain Trip meeting on Friday, Dec. 2nd during 5th Hour in Mr. Liddle's Room. We will be discussing rooming assignments. If you cannot make the meeting please see Mr. Liddle sometime this week.

I have been in education for many years, but this is my first year at Benton Community as the 7th grade math teacher. When I have free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking and spending time with my incredible family. I am thrilled to be part of the Bobcat Family!
