Students in Norway recently got the opportunity to spend their "Bobcat Bucks" and shop at the school store. PBIS promotes positive behaviors in a number of ways. These students could name ways they were SAFE, RESPONSIBLE, RESPECTFUL, and CARING in order to earn their bucks.

Any day is a great day to sit down with a good book, but the weather turning colder makes it even sweeter. This Bobcat was excited to be able to read this book she recently checked out.

Benton Community buildings are all focused on GRATITUDE as a word and skill area of study this month. Dr. Bieschke and Mrs. Selk traveled the district this morning to provide staff with a sweet treat and share words of appreciation and gratitude. We are so grateful to have such a dedicated group of individuals supporting students throughout the district in a variety of roles.

"My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is the relationships I have been able to build here in my first year with teachers, parents, and all of the students!"

Kelsey shares, "I got to student teach at Benton Middle & High School where I fell in love with the students and got to learn about the unique lovely culture of Benton. I love getting to see the middle and high school students continue to grow when I'm in Van Horne and when those students come down to Norway. I feel very grateful to be part of the amazing team at Norway where there is so much care about the health, development, and wellbeing of students. And I feel very honored to get to learn from the amazing, precious students here."

"My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is the strong commitment to our students and staff both academically and in our extracurricular activities. GO CATS!"

Hello! This is my fourth year of teaching and my second year at Benton Community. I teach fourth grade at Norway Intermediate. I really enjoy being a Bobcat because I get to serve the families of Benton Community, plus the opportunity to work with a fantastic bunch of educators!
