"I chose to teach at Benton because it was a perfect fit. It is the perfect place to start a career, raise a family, and continue to learn. My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is the support one feels during times of celebration and during times of trial. Bobcats always have your back."

Due to extreme cold temperatures and road closures, there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 15th. The MS/HS will extend the first semester through Wednesday and the second semester will begin on Thursday. Thanks for your understanding as we continue to navigate the weather this winter.

Benton Community and Central Lutheran will be closed on Friday, January 12th. There will be no activities.
With the cancellation of the last three days of school and another cancellation tomorrow, the district plans to use one of our snow makeup days on Monday, January 15th as a regular school day with students in attendance. Monday was originally scheduled to be a professional development day for staff and a no-school day for students. This day is listed on our official school calendar as a potential school makeup day, if needed.
As we continue to monitor the weather and potential closures into next week, please know that our decisions are based on the safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these winter weather situations.

Our activities with competitions on Thursday have been canceled.

Benton Community & Central Lutheran will now be CLOSED today, Thursday, January 11th, for the safety of students and staff.
