The 2022-2023 girls basketball season in the WaMac Conference is producing a lot of high-quality high school girls basketball games. Currently, 7 of the 11 WaMac schools are rated in the IGHSAU state rankings. As we hit the 2023 portion of the season, most of the games are now WaMac contests, so every night there are exciting games across the conference that will help to shape the conference race. The Benton girls have gotten off to a good start and are competing for the top of the west division of the conference. The schedule this year works out so girls play home games every Tuesday night.

On Tuesday, January 17th the Bobcats will be playing against WaMac West opponent CPU and will be taking part in the Benton Community Food Pantry food drive. So if you haven’t gotten a chance to come out and watch the girls basketball team, bring along a non-perishable food item on a Tuesday night and head to Van Horne to watch the team in action. The girls really appreciate the community support!
