In World History we are currently covering World War II. To properly cover this war, we also cover the buildup from the end of World War I through the Treaty of Versailles, League of Nations, and the military buildup and aggression of Germany and Japan in the 1930s. With the involvement of the United States after Pearl Harbor, students have the opportunity to understand how the war changed from 1942 on, as well as the involvement of several Iowans in the war, such as Nile Kinnick, Bob Feller, and the Sullivan Brothers.
