When you think about special education, you tend to think about special educators, but there are also our associates. Special education is a job that can’t be done without them. They work alongside teachers and students every day to help them be successful at school.

Associates not only help students with their general education classes, but they also help with social skills, life skills, and communication. They support students throughout their school day and help them participate in activities and classrooms with their peers.

Special education is a team effort, and it couldn’t be done without our associates. They build relationships with our students, support them through challenges, and celebrate their successes. They truly are an important part of our students’ school experience, and I truly appreciate everything they do.
