April 22nd was Earth Day and students at Atkins celebrated all week long.  Students were involved in a coloring contest, wore “Earthly” colors, picked up trash around the school, and had a loose change contest to raise money to plant flowers around our school. Students not only learned how to take care of our planet, but how to get involved in the community and help our school.  Students felt so purposeful all week as they contributed to making our Earth a better place to live in!
