The Benton 8th grade boys’ basketball program had a strong and memorable 2026 season, highlighted by growth, teamwork, and steady improvement across all three teams. The A-team finished 4–6, competing hard in every matchup and showing major development in fundamentals, decision-making, and confidence. The B-team posted a successful 6–4 record, demonstrating impressive consistency and a commitment to playing smart, disciplined basketball. The C-team also had a winning season at 5–4, showcasing hustle, energy, and noticeable progress from the first game to the last.

With 26 players in the program, one of the biggest strengths of the season was the group’s coachability and positive attitude. All players worked hard, supported each other, and showed a willingness to learn and get better every day. By the end of the season, the improvement across all three teams was clear, and the players’ dedication helped create a competitive, fun, and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
