During the month of December, our class participated in a fun and festive Secret Santa activity that brought excitement and community into our classroom each day. Every day, a different student was chosen as the Secret Santa and surprised the class by bringing in a small item to share. Along with the surprise, three clues about the Secret Santa were written on the board, sparking curiosity and conversation among classmates. Our class was given donuts, ring pops, pencils, popits, erasers, etc. The kids loved coming to school every day to see what surprise would be on their desk in the morning.
Using the clues, the class worked together to guess who the Secret Santa was, carefully thinking about the facts and sharing their reasoning. This activity encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and kindness, while also helping students learn more about one another. It was a joyful way to celebrate the holiday season and build a stronger classroom community.
