As we head into the summer months, I want to thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your child’s growth and well-being. While summer offers a well-deserved break from the school routine, it can also mean increased screen time. As a school leader and a fellow parent, I encourage you to set clear, consistent guidelines for how and when devices are used. Establishing screen-free times—such as during meals, before bed, or during family outings—helps children develop healthier habits and stay present in the moment.

Summer is also the perfect time to encourage your child to explore activities that don't involve a screen. Getting outside, reading, hands on jobs and projects, and helping around the house all offer meaningful alternatives. Consider creating a weekly routine that includes a mix of fun, rest, and learning. With your guidance, we can help students return in the fall refreshed, balanced, and ready to learn. Wishing you all a safe and joyful summer!  Go Bobcats!
