Students in Norway practice following school-wide behavior expectations and when they do… teachers often recognize their efforts and give them a “Bobcat Buck.” All of the students collectively earned this end of year celebration where certificates were handed out, GOAT games were played, and teachers ended with whip cream pies in their face.
The following accomplishments were mentioned as part of the assembly; six students had PERFECT attendance, student council representatives, character awards, fitness club, and Norway Pacers running club. A student and a teacher from each class played different games against each other for points, which added together for the winning grade. This year, 6th grade won and hence the traveling trophy will be displayed. If a teacher received 50 bobcat bucks in their envelope set out in the cafeteria, then they were going to “win” at the end of the assembly. Close to 25 teachers were willing to be part of this actively, so there was a lot of whip cream used.
Congrats to all the students and families in Norway as part of the 2024-25 school year. Wishing you all a safe and fun summer.
