Erin Van Sickle, 1st Grade Teacher, Keystone Elementary
This is my second year at Benton, first full year in the classroom. I was nervous and excited to begin the new year! I have had the pleasure to work with an induction and instructional coach, who have been so supportive and helpful. I also had the opportunity to be a part of the Beginning Teacher Network (BTN). In the BTN sessions, I had the opportunity to meet and chat with other first and second year teachers who are going through many of the same things I am going through. I’ve also had the opportunity to learn many different strategies through all these different people to better support my classroom and my students! I have loved working with all the amazing teachers and staff throughout Keystone and the BTN; they have been amazing to learn from!
