The Alternative Kindergarten friends recently celebrated their 100th Day of School. What a fun day to celebrate all the learning that has occurred during our first 100 days of school! We completed activities for math, literacy, and writing. We have been reading a story over the first 100 days called “Emily’s First 100 Days of School.” We read Day 100 to start our day.

We practiced counting to 100 by 1s, 5s, and 10s. The students had the opportunity to add 100 gumballs on a bubble gum machine using paint dabbers. The students created “100 Days Brighter” hats to celebrate the occasion. The Alternative Kindergarten students also wrote stories sharing what they would buy with 100 dollars!

The students enjoyed celebrating 100 Days of School! It has been so exciting to watch the Alternative Kindergarten class grow in their learning over these first 100 days of school!
