I previously taught High School math for 14 years, and I am currently the building principal at the Norway Center for the past four years. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, vacationing, and watching my children's many activities.

Year 24 of teaching with Benton Community is almost in the books! I have taught 5th and 6th grade and all core subjects except for science in two different buildings. I live in Van Horne with my wife Laurie, my junior daughter Kennedy and my son Kole, who is in 5th grade. Our oldest daughter Kaylin graduated from Benton last year and lives in Iowa City. When I'm not coaching high school track or one of my children's sports teams I can usually be found cheering on the Cyclones, Bears, Cardinals or Bobcats at some sporting event with friends and family.
