BC Artist Spotlight- Bentley Ecker, 8th grade
Last week, some of our 8th graders participated in the JA Finance Park simulation. This culminating experience allowed students to put their knowledge around budgeting to practice. Discussions around gross and net pay, credit scores, interest, paying yourself first, and more were all part of this experience. This experience wouldn’t be possible without the volunteers who helped to facilitate discussions. We are so grateful for the service of all of our JA volunteers throughout the district. If you are interested in serving as a JA volunteer, please reach to Anna Selk.
My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is the strong sense of pride and community shared by students and staff, making Benton a positive and supportive place to learn and grow.

My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is witnessing the growth in both students and staff. Our culture is built on continuous improvement, support, and encouragement, and it’s inspiring to see everyone striving to be better together. That shared commitment to growth and supporting one another is what truly makes being a Bobcat special.
Benton Community and Central Lutheran will be running a 2 hour late start schedule tomorrow, Monday, January 26. Please remember that there are no morning activities on a late start. Also, there is no breakfast served. The AM and PM preschool session times have been adjusted.
