I chose Benton because it is my home district. I grew up here, and I have always wanted to be a part of the Benton family. My mother taught here, my wife teaches here, and my children went here.

Junior Achievement in Mrs. Franck’s kindergarten class brought Benton alumni and friends together! Melissa Lennie is one of many JA volunteers adding value to our student experience by volunteering to deliver lessons focused on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Many thanks to all of our JA volunteers throughout the district.

2nd graders at Atkins Elementary got the chance to learn about song creation with Mrs. Smith! They learned about the base beat, types of instruments, and patterns to develop a song. Then they got the opportunity to put their creativity to work and develop their own music.
