Several Benton Community teachers are spending part of their week attending the Iowa Reading Research Center's Science of Reading Summit. Through sessions focused on evidence-based literacy practices and the latest reading research, these educators are continuing to invest in their professional growth so they can provide the best possible learning experiences for our students.
We appreciate their commitment to lifelong learning and dedication to helping every Bobcat become a successful reader!

Why Benton?
I chose to work at Benton because it felt like home. Immediately, I felt like I belonged as a part of the Bobcat Family.

Perfect attendance for the 2025–2026 school year — what an incredible accomplishment by these four students! Your dedication, responsibility, and commitment are truly something to celebrate. Congratulations to each of you on this outstanding achievement!
My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is the strong sense of community and support from everyone involved. The families are amazing and always willing to encourage students, staff, and activities in so many ways. It makes being part of the Bobcat family feel welcoming and special every day!
