Elementary teachers had the opportunity to review data from statewide assessments during professional learning yesterday. They were able to note celebrations and areas of growth for our system. One of Benton's core values is Continuous Growth. Evidence of this in action can be seen in the pictures below.

School will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, September 27.

"My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is our traditions for each school year. My two favorites are the Homecoming celebration and our Veterans Day Program."

One of the skills 4th graders work on is adding large numbers. One of the ways they do this is by using a place-value chart. You can see these students working together to add and other students learning through collaboratively solving an application problem.

Homecoming dress-up was apparent across elementary buildings today! Staff and students participated by wearing their favorite holiday spirit gear.

Samantha answers the question, Why did you choose Benton?
During one of my student teaching experiences I taught with Mrs. Gleason at Atkins Elementary, during my time there I fell in love with the community atmosphere of the district. Benton Community is truly a place to belong.

During the early release today, staff had the opportunity to review school-wide data, learn about behavior specific praise, and collaborate with their teammates.
