Aidan Thompson earned the win, throwing for five innings, allowing one hit two earned runs, walking five, hit one batter and struck out five. Finn threw for one inning, allowed no hits or runs, and struck out one. Benton (8-10) travels to Vinton-Shellsburg (0-15) for conference action on Monday, June 13. They host Grinnell (18-1) on Tuesday, June 14. Conference action resumes Thursday, June 16, when Benton hosts Maquoketa (3-10).
