This year marks the 24th year I have taught math along with coaching track and field at Benton Community. I live in Van Horne with my husband, Mike, who is a bus driver and substitute teacher for the district, my daughter, Elizabeth, who is a student at Norway Intermediate, and Buddy, our beloved Morkie. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, trips to Michigan, and a good baseball game.

Trees are planted in Van Horne
Many trees were lost in Van Horne during the derecho. Baumhoefener Nursery, Future Green and Benton's National Honor Society gathered in April 26 to replant some of those trees.
Benton Community will have a Noon (12:00 p.m.) dismissal TODAY (Wednesday, April 26) for professional development and 7-12 grade parent/teacher conferences from 2:30-7:30 p.m.
