Spanish Seal of Biliteracy: Any student who plans to take the Spanish Seal of Biliteracy Test needs to turn in $19.90 in to Mr. Liddle by next Wednesday, February 9th. Checks can be made out to Benton Community Schools. You will not be able to take the test if you have not paid for it. See Mr. Liddle with questions.


MS/HS Students & Staff: Please help the Student Council share the love this Valentine’s Day by making cards to nursing home residents! Go to the IMC to find card templates for this activity. Please take ONE card template and write a nice message on the inside and decorate the outside however you want! (Look at the example card for an idea) Feel free to take a card home to decorate and then bring it back to school. We will be collecting the box of cards at the end of the school day on Friday, February 11, 2022, so make sure to turn in your card by then!

Benton Community is seeking a dynamic Long Term Substitute High School Social Studies Teacher for the remainder of the 2021-2022 School Year. The assignment is focused on the following curricular areas: Government, Global Studies, and Modern America. After fifteen (15) consecutive days in the same substitute teaching position, the substitute teacher will be placed on the salary schedule at the B.A. base salary on the first (1st) experience level. (FY’22 - $175.87/day.)
