My favorite thing about being a Bobcat is being a member of a welcoming, caring, and inclusive community. I am not originally from the area, and when I was hired I was welcomed with smiling faces and open arms. I am so glad I became a Bobcat and will get to grow my family in this district.

I enjoy working in this district because I see firsthand the high-quality education and strong sense of community it provides. As both a teacher and a parent, it’s rewarding to know that my own children are benefiting from the same dedicated staff, supportive environment, and commitment to excellence that I value as an educator.
My favorite thing about being a Benton Bobcat is that we work hard, help each other, and always cheer each other on. It feels good to be part of a school and community where that is our culture.

Why Benton?
I chose to teach at Benton because I fell in love with this warm, welcoming community 19 years ago while student teaching — a place that truly lives out the phrase, “A Place to Belong.”
