Kayley was honored at the Ashley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution's annual George Washington Birthday Tea on Sunday, February 22, 2026, held at Cedar Memorial Family Center and Library. This special event recognizes outstanding students who truly embody what it means to be a good citizen.
The DAR Good Citizen Award is one of the oldest and most respected student recognition programs in the United States. Established in 1934, this prestigious honor celebrates high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities.

Eli Patterson had 23 for Benton. Jack Lange had 14, With 10 each were Brooks Mitchell-Birdsell and Kaleb Hayden. Patterson had nine rebounds. Hayden added seven. Hayden also had three assists. Lange had two steals. Patterson had two blocks. Hayden had two.
The next game is Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. at ADM (20-2). The winner plays Monday, March 2.

As a Benton grad, my favorite thing about being a Bobcat is getting to pass down Bobcat Pride to my students. Helping them see that being a Bobcat is special and there is nowhere else that is quite like Benton.
MS/HS students and staff came together to recognize the dedication, talent, and hard work of some of our extra curricular groups. These activities help build confidence, teamwork, responsibility, and school spirit, and we are so proud of all those involved! Congratulations, Bobcats!
