The vocal music department has kicked off the year with lots of energy and activity!
Our show choirs have started rehearsals and learned pieces of their show. The picture is from Labor Day weekend when our choreographer, Kevin Chase, came to town to start teaching us parts of the show. While he was in town he also rehearsed with the middle school show choir, Illusions.
That same weekend, our junior varsity show choir, Jubilation, Inc. helped out with the kids games at Sauerkraut Days and they have also started rehearsals to get their competition show ready.
We also have 15 students working hard for the October auditions for the all state choir. Our concert choir and mixed choir are currently preparing for their October concert and we are rehearsing and eagerly anticipating our production of "Freaky Friday", this year's Fall musical which will happen in early November.
