The Preliminary SAT, also known as the PSAT/NMSQT® (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test), is a practice version of the SAT exam. It may be taken once per year.  Many students take the test in both 10th and 11th grade. If a high score  is earned on the PSAT during their  junior year, students  could qualify to receive a National Merit Scholarship.. Skills tested are reading, writing, and math. Unlike the SAT, the highest score possible on the PSAT is 1520.

PSAT is administered to all students across the nation on select dates.  Benton Community students will take the test on Wednesday, 10-13-21.
