Course Planning Underway for the 2026–2027 School Year
Benton Middle School/High School has officially begun the course planning process for the 2026–2027 school year. Starting early allows our team to thoughtfully align course offerings with student interests, graduation requirements, and future readiness goals. Our priority is to build a schedule that offers strong academic options while maintaining balanced class sizes and high-quality instruction.
On Thursday, January 8, all 7th–11th grade advisor groups participated in a Zoom watch party hosted by Mrs. Nesbitt. During the session, students were introduced to upcoming course offerings and requirement changes for the 2026–2027 school year. In the coming weeks, students and families will receive additional information regarding available courses and important scheduling timelines. Advisors, Mrs. Nesbitt, and I will be available to answer questions and support students as they consider their academic pathways. Families are encouraged to engage in conversations about course selections and watch for additional details as we continue this important planning process.
