A balanced lifting program that includes plyometrics is essential for developing overall strength, power, and athletic performance while reducing the risk of injury. Traditional resistance training builds muscular strength and endurance, providing the foundation for stability and force production. Plyometric exercises, on the other hand, focus on explosive movements that train the muscles and nervous system to generate force rapidly, improving speed, agility, and coordination.
In this activity, students are making use of the new jump boxes, and racks. We’re fortunate to have an administration that prioritizes providing quality equipment and facilities, ensuring both opportunity and safety for our students and athletes.
