In our biology class, we've been diving deep into the fascinating world of DNA, the molecule that holds the blueprint for life. Our unit included a hands-on experiment: extracting DNA from strawberries. It was a captivating process, observing those tiny strands emerge from something as ordinary as a fruit.
Building on this, we went a step further by extracting DNA from our own cheek cells. It was a fascinating experience to see our own genetic material, connecting us in a profound way to the science we were studying.
Through these experiments, we've come to understand just how crucial DNA is. From its elegant double helix structure to the intricate process of replication, every aspect is vital to life as we know it.
