After four postponements (due to cancellations, early outs, or the state basketball tournament), the Benton Girls Wrestling team held its end-of-the-season banquet on Wednesday, April 5th. In its inaugural season, the Benton Community Girls Wrestling team was fourteen members strong.  For all but two of those members, this past season would be the first time they had laced up a pair of wrestling shoes.

Earning academic all-conference honors were Jessa DeMoss, Emma Fennern, and Carlie Sims.   Most improved for junior varsity and varsity went to Laynee Armstrong and Emma Fennern, respectively.  The Newcomer of the Year award (varsity wrestler who is new to the lineup and has a substantial impact) went to Jessa DeMoss.  The first most valuable wrestler award went to Lizzy Wolf.
