n2007 Girls State Track Championship with an average G.P.A.
of 3.49 for 43 athletes on the team.
n2007 Benton Football Team made it to the
state playoffs. Our Bobcats have been
District Champs 3 out of the last 5 years.
nOver the past four years the Benton
Community Speech Team has grown from 26 students to 49 students. During that time, we have qualified 16 students
for All-State competition, the highest level of participation in Iowa.
n2007 8th grade volleyball, A and B squads, had perfect 8-0
seasons this year. Nicole Kaloupek
served a perfect game.
nMarching Band earned a Division I rating in 2007
nThe 2007 Benton yearbook staff placed 1st in the Fall Yearbook Contest for the
Iowa High School Press Association and in 2006 placed 3rd and they won at least 30 other
individual entry titles between the two years
